I have been on the Joomla platform since 2.5 and I have always used Rockettheme for templates and extensions and now I am migrating to the Cassiopeia template for the first time. I have not had to do a conversion of the Rockettheme site into a Cassiopeia since the site I am working on was small enough to rebuild everything page for page after setting up the structure of the Cassiopeia template.
Being new to Cassiopeia, I think I am now gaining an understanding that I may need to work more in the template code than in module positions as I did in Rockettheme. But please correct me in this notion if I am wrong. Of course I would like to avoid having to re-enter scripts and/or code after a template update takes place.
Here are various template script/code elements (pasted below) I will need to migrate to reassemble what I had inserted into various module positions of the Rockettheme template. Funny, but I could not locate the Google Analytics scripts, but that's another matter and I have included enough here to illustrate the point of contention:
